Overview

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Order to Cash (O2C) manager to support our fast growing Professional Services practice. This is a unique opportunity that will give you hands on experience in operation across the countries in our APJ geography. You will support and drive high-impact, scalable solutions ultimately accelerating our enterprise customer’s journey to the cloud.

AWS provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with Order-to-Cash (O2C) experience, strong relationship skills, experience in process enhancements across functions and geographies, and a pursuit for improvement. This individual must have a proven record of delivering, problem solving skills, financial process and system knowledge, and a passion for customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and execute all financial transactions including monthly billing, credits, rebills, prepayments, revenue and cost accruals for Professional Services
  • Ensure accurate project accounting setup and maintenance aligned with contract statements of work while adhering to SLAs
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, operations, revenue teams, and legal on ProServe engagement setup and approval processes
  • Manage and optimize Order & Partner Management and Billing processes, including documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Leadership, Business Operations and Advisory (BOA), Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, HR, and IT teams to ensure compliance and process efficiency
  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales operations tools including CRM, BI, and billing systems
  • Analyze large data sets to identify and mitigate business risks and downstream impacts
  • Support reconciliations and partner with downstream Financial Operations teams for customer account resolution
  • Field and support audit requests related to Order, Partner Management and Billing processes
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for monitoring data quality and business performance
  • Prepare and deliver formal/informal presentations to business stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process standardization and optimization
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Fluent in Chinese to support Greater China Region shared tasks
