- Order Processing:Receive and review customer orders submitted via various channels (e.g., online, email, phone). Verify order accuracy, including product details, pricing, and shipping information. Enter orders into the system accurately and promptly, ensuring adherence to established procedures. Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve any order discrepancies or issues.
- Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts or audits. Communicate with suppliers or vendors to replenish stock and ensure adequate inventory levels. Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage inventory replenishment processes.
- Order Fulfillment:Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly labeled and packaged securely. Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outgoing orders. Resolve any shipping issues or delivery delays, communicating proactively with customers as needed.
- Customer Service:Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping updates, and product availability. Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via email, phone, or online chat. Address customer concerns or complaints regarding order fulfillment promptly and effectively. Work collaboratively with the customer service team to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline and improve order processing and fulfillment workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and efficiency improvements. Provide feedback and suggestions for system enhancements or automation to enhance order fulfillment processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in order processing, fulfillment, or customer service roles preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
