Oral Health Therapist*

Institution: National University Polyclinics

You will be a member of our multi-disciplinary oral healthcare team and be responsible for providing dental hygiene treatment and oral health promotion to patients. You will assess and manage patients who are referred for scaling and polishing independently and implement appropriate treatment plans, including root planning services and carry out application of fissure sealant. You will also manage extractions and restoration of teeth for patients of 18 years of age or younger and give public talks relating to oral health.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy or equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Dental Council
2. Registered with Singapore Dental Council as an Oral Health Therapist
3. Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Able to work independently and as a team
5. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
