Job summary

GECO Asia seeks a senior Oracle Apps/DBA to own enterprise Oracle ERP and database environments in Singapore. You will ensure system stability, performance, security, and operational continuity across Oracle and related platforms.

You will lead upgrades, patching, cloning, backups, DR, and production support, handling deployments, environment migrations, and release activities while delivering timely incident resolution and root cause analysis in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 6+ years in Oracle Apps DBA or similar role.
• Hands-on with Oracle ERP/Fusion, Oracle Database, ATP/ADW, SQL Server.
• Experience with upgrades, patching, backup/recovery, DR, and performance tuning.
• Familiar with ODI and WebLogic administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle ERP/Fusion, Oracle DB, SQL Server, Cognos, MES, and related systems.
• Perform upgrades, patching, cloning, backups, DR, and recovery activities.
• Manage deployments, environment migrations, and release activities.
• Troubleshoot database, application, middleware, and infra issues.
• Support Oracle ATP, ADW, ODI, and WebLogic environments.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, SOX, ITGC.

About the Role
Join a global semiconductor and electronics manufacturing leader and take ownership of enterprise Oracle ERP and database environments. You'll be responsible for ensuring system stability, performance, security, and operational continuity across Oracle and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle ERP/Fusion, Oracle Database, SQL Server, Cognos, MES, and related systems.

Perform database upgrades, patching, cloning, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

Manage deployments, environment migrations, and release activities.

Troubleshoot database, application, middleware, and infrastructure issues.

Support Oracle ATP, ADW, ODI, and WebLogic environments.

Ensure compliance with security, audit, SOX, and ITGC requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

6+ years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle ERP DBA, or similar role.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion

Oracle Database, Oracle ATP & ADW

Microsoft SQL Server

Database upgrades, patching, cloning, backup & recovery, DR, and performance tuning

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

WebLogic administration

Production support, incident management, and root cause analysis

Nice to Have

APEX, Excel4Apps, or SVN experience

Data migration and cloud transformation projects

Manufacturing or industrial industry experience
