Job summary

Owndays Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring an optometrist to perform refractions and comprehensive eye exams for customers aged 8 and above. You will recommend lenses, frames and optical solutions, and support daily retail operations.

The role requires registration with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) or eligibility, strong English communication, and a customer-focused approach in a busy retail setting with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Comfortable working retail hours including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform refraction and eye examinations (8 years old & above).
• Recommend suitable lenses, frames, and optical solutions.
• Conduct contact lens fitting and provide aftercare advice.
• Support dispensing, edging, and adjustments.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused service.

• Comfortable working retail hours and standing during shift (including weekends & PH)
• Good command of spoken and written English.
