Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a recent graduate for a data analytics role in Singapore. You will analyze requirements, translate them into specifications, and collaborate across teams to deliver data-driven solutions using Python, C++, and SQL.

We require a Master’s or Bachelor’s in industrial engineering, 0–1 year of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
• 0-1 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and SQL.
• Ability to gain cooperation of others, collaborate and lead complex interfaces with no authority.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel and manage timelines & due dates independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business requirements, converts requirements to functional and technical specifications, and analyzes cross functional solutions to meet complex business requirements.
• Perform big data analysis and derive actionable insights, followed by production implementation in collaboration with multiple business functions.
• Propose Optimal approach with thorough impact quantification while reviewing business requirements.
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Define the most effective control mechanisms to capture process anomalies and gaps while using advance analytics.
• Chance to gain hands-on experience, acquire professional skills, and be mentored by senior team members.
• Work with SAP and other internal organizational information systems.
