Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Manager, Optics Production in Singapore to lead end-to-end optics manufacturing operations. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost, while guiding production Supervisors and associates through capacity planning and development.

Responsibilities include budgeting, labor planning, and applying Lean tools to improve productivity. You will collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure readiness and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of production/manufacturing management experience.
• Minimum five years of direct leadership of production staff.
• Experience managing production planning, manpower, capacity and equipment utilization.
• Experience applying Lean/con­tinuous improvement in production ops.
• Knowledge of TPM, OEE and downtime management.
• Proficient in English for documentation and cross-functional comms.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily optics production to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost targets.
• Develop and lead Production Supervisors and associates through planning and coaching.
• Manage production budgeting, labor, materials and spending.
• Drive productivity with Danaher Business System and Lean tools.
• Ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering and QA to resolve issues.
• Support lifecycle activities including NPI and readiness planning.
