Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Optician in Singapore to join a busy retail eyewear operation.

The position requires MOH licensing, with weekend and public holiday hours, and a 5-day work week 9:30am to 8pm, with Monday and Friday off according to the posting. Salary ranges from SGD 3100 to 3300 and is location-based at Choa Chu Kang. Responsibilities include conducting eye and vision tests, dispensing eyewear, and providing professional solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Registered as Optician with MOH Optometrists and Optician Board.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
• Able to commit retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Eye and vision tests.
• Dispensing.
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques.
• Maintain records of customer prescription, work orders and payments.
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information and performing simple bookkeeping.
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and adhoc duties.
