Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Optician for a fixed location in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. The role involves eye and vision testing, dispensing eyewear, providing professional advice to customers, and prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Candidates must be MOH registered as an Optician, with retail experience preferred, and be able to work on weekends and public holidays. The position is a 5-day week with hours from 9:30am to 8pm.

Qualifications

• Registered as Optician with MOH Optometrists and Optician Board.
• Retail experience will be an advantage.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Eye and vision tests
• Dispensing
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques
• Maintain records of customer prescription, work orders and payments
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information and performing simple bookkeeping
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and adhoc duties
