Join our Group Operational Risk Management Team and be a key player in our Business Continuity Management (BCM) System Replacement Project! We're looking for a proactive individual to drive communication, coordinate crucial BCM business needs, and oversee the entire system lifecycle, from design to successful implementation and testing. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and building a robust new platform.
What You'll Do:
- Translate Business Needs: Collaborate closely with the team to thoroughly gather, clarify, and document detailed business requirements for our new BCM system. You'll then effectively communicate these needs to our technical and project management teams, ensuring a clear understanding for development and system design.
- Support System Implementation: Partner with the project management team throughout the development and implementation phases, ensuring the final solution accurately reflects the defined BCM business requirements. You'll actively support the implementation process, diligently tracking and resolving any issues that arise to keep the project on track and within scope.
- Drive System Testing: Take ownership of developing comprehensive test plans and executing rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on the established BCM business requirements. You'll meticulously track any identified issues through to their successful resolution.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Conduct thorough system and data integrity checks as needed, verifying the accuracy of data migration and the correct design of system workflows.
- Empower Users: Develop clear and concise training materials and user guides to facilitate effective internal adoption of the new BCM system.
- Provide Clear Updates: Regularly update the Team Lead on project progress, providing timely escalation of any potential issues or roadblocks.
- Champion Risk Management: Proactively consider business and regulatory compliance risks in your daily work and take appropriate steps to mitigate them.
What you'll bring:
- Polytechnic Diploma / University Degree.
- At least 2 years of direct working experience, in the area BCM domain industry.
- Process relevant system implementation experience will be an advantage.
- A track record of driving improvement through data and insights.
- Excellent communication skills
- You're a self-starter, team player, and thrive under pressure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- Bonus points for experience in banking risk and control.
