Job summary

A leading eye care institution in Singapore is seeking individuals for technical ophthalmic assistance roles. You will assist medical staff in performing eye tests and updating patient records. Qualifications

• Fresh Diploma or Degree holders are welcome to apply.
• Computer literate with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions under an ophthalmologist's direction.
• Perform basic ophthalmic eye investigation tests.
• Update patient's database records and perform administrative functions.

Job description

Assist to provide technical ophthalmic assistance to medical staff. You will be required to perform various eye tests and update database records of procedures performed.

Responsibilities

• work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions
• perform basic ophthalmic eye investigation tests for different subspecialty group e.g. glaucoma screening
• perform administrative functions and update patient's database records.
• able to achieve competency in a fast paced environment
• any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Health Science related
• Fresh Diploma or Degree holder are welcome to apply
• Computer literate with the ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of the eye conditions will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working with patients

Basic knowledge of the eye will be an advantage but not essential as technical on job training will be provided.
