An Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist supports ophthalmologists in conducting various eye examinations that are crucial for diagnosing and treating patients' eye conditions.

Job Descriptions:

  • Work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions
  • Conduct a range of ophthalmic tests for different conditions, such as glaucoma screenings, pre-operative cataract assessments, and other investigative procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies.
  • Perform maintenance and calibration of diagnostic testing equipment.
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history and test results
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet required investigation competencies in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a diploma, preferably in a science-related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
