Job summary

A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Production Operator to assist in food processing operations. The role involves maintaining hygiene and safety while performing operational duties and light maintenance. Candidates should possess at least an NITEC in Engineering and be comfortable lifting materials up to 25kg. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Foreign Diploma/Degree in Engineering required.
• Able to lift up to 25kg of material.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an added advantage.

Job description

The Production Operator assists with the food processing operation and filling according to work instructions. He/She will ensure the cleanliness with good housekeeping in our production plants.

He/She will report to the First Line Manager of the Production Plant.

Responsibilities:

· Perform operation according to work instruction.

· Prepare for start-up, which includes verification of metal detectors and other operational prerequisite programs/critical control point.

· Machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Check and record net weight digitally.

· Always maintain Hygiene and Safety.

· Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

·WeeklyRotating shift :

Mon-Sat : 7am-3pm

Mon-Fri : 3pm-11pm

Mon-Fri : 11pm-7am

· Minimum NITEC or Foreign Diploma/Degree in Engineering.

· Work in Non-Air con environment.

· Able to lift up to 25kg of material.

· WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an added advantage.
