A leading company seeks an Operations & Support Engineer to manage application systems and support team operations. Operations & Support Engineer (Applications)
We are looking for a 1x Operations & Support Engineer to support one of our ongoing projects. Please find below the JD for your review. Below are some additional details:
· The working location will be at Ang Mo Kio.
· Working hours will be 0830hrs to 1800hrs, Monday to Friday. Sometimes there will be Saturday onsite support required, off-in-lieu will be provide accordingly.
· Onsite, no WFH.
· There may be about 10-20% travelling to client locations at Upper Jurong Road and at Depot Road, transport will be claimable.
· Singaporeans only, existing CAT2 and above clearance would be an advantage.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Operations and Support: Assisting with ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization of our application systems including change, incident, and problem management.
User Support & Communication: Lead a team to provide troubleshooting assistance to end users, ensuring that the issues are resolved timely.
System Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor application performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
Team Support: Support the Operations and Support Manager in managing a team of support staff, providing guidance and training.
Documentation: Preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analyzing monthly reports related to operational performance and needs.
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
· Able to work independently with initiative.
· Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
· Good written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin to interact with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
· Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Words, Excel, and Outlook).
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Relevant internships or project experience is a plus.
· Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) and application lifecycle management is a plus.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms, server infrastructure, and databases related to application hosting is a plus.
