Operations Specialist (Air Freight) / Logistics Industry

Our client is a Global Logistics Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Operations Specialist (Air Freight) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service efficiency.
2. Ensure all shipping documentation complies with international regulations and company policies.
3. Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and shipment updates.
4. Manage air and ocean freight shipments, including booking, tracking, and documentation.
5. Support operational improvements for better workflow and customer experience.
6. Identify and resolve shipment issues while keeping customers informed.
7. Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
8. Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.
9. Provide prompt and efficient support to ensure customer satisfaction.
10. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Min Diploma in logistics/supply chain studies or equivalent.
2. Min 3 years relevant working experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, or logistics.
3. Experience with documentation in import/export operations would be advantageous.
