About The Role

To ensure a smooth onboarding process and agency movement process for AIA sales channels, conducting and reviewing agent’s fit and proper assessments.

Stay up-to-date and well-versed with regulations pertaining to agent onboarding, fit and proper requirements. Support the team in day-to-day tasks such as providing data and reports.

Onboarding and Agency Movement
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new agents, from due diligence and reference checks to onboarding.
  • Stay informed on regulations and documentation related to onboarding representatives and fit and proper guidelines.
  • Lead onboarding sessions, track applications, and push for applications in pipelines.
  • Follow up promptly with pipeline applications.
  • Create and file agents’ onboarding documents and codes timely.
  • Support the consolidation of agents’ statistics (demographics, adverse records).
  • Monitor agents with adverse records or on monitoring.
  • Support agents’ movement processing in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payment files related to onboarding and representatives.
  • Streamline and improve onboarding and agency movement processes.
  • Lead project discussions related to onboarding and agency movement.
Other Responsibilities
  • Update agents’ particulars and details timely.
  • Assist in license registration of agents with MAS and GIA.
  • Support annual fit and proper exercises.
  • Support agent code creation and maintenance for other divisions.
  • Assist in report generation and data analysis.
  • Support FC migrations across entities as required.
  • Perform gap analysis and ensure SOPs are updated timely.
  • Provide weekend month-end support if the last day falls on a weekend.
  • Perform UAT and post-implementation checks on recruitment platforms.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and assignments from the manager.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree qualification.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations or related roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Soft skills include good communication, interpersonal skills, being a team player, and independence.
