Job description

As an Operations Supervisor at Careem BIKE in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, efficiency, and productivity of the Field Teams. You will play a crucial role in providing essential reports related to people, operations, and the overall network condition to the Operations Manager, Engineers, and Management team to ensure smooth operations on a daily basis.Your key responsibilities will include conducting training, implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, controlling expenses, and providing quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience as an operations supervisor or in a similar role, hold a UAE Driving license, have experience with bicycle and sustainability transportation advocacy, possess affinity for IT solutions and app-based services, and exhibit excellent communication skills, including cross-cultural skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this position.Furthermore, you should have a love for bicycles and understanding of the bike-sharing industry, the ability to identify priorities and execute critical tasks under deadlines, be highly organized and process-oriented, have the capacity to lead employees efficiently and fairly, demonstrate patience, and be self-directed while also excelling in a team environment.
