Our client, a major e-commerce retail business, is looking for an assistant manager/senior operations executive. The role entails a management traineeship programme, with the intended purpose of leading two separate teams within the organisation
Job Scope
Managing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse facility that serves the retail business (mostly online and e-commerce based)
Resolving issues with the third-party logistics and supplier teams with the customer service team
Leading projects to improve the efficiency of the operations in terms of packing, retrieval, order placements or WMS
Working with other department heads to work cohesively as a company
Driving internal initiatives and streamlining of processes
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, warehousing or related field
2-3 years' experience in e-commerce, warehousing, logistics or retail field
Some experience in leading and mentoring teams will be preferred
Ability to speak Mandarin is essential to liaise with counterparts/suppliers from China
