Job description

Responsibilities

1. Assist with planning and scheduling transportation activities, including route coordination and vehicle dispatching.
2. Monitor delivery timelines and ensure that vehicles and drivers are following their schedules.
3. Assist and provide training and professional development for fleet of drivers.
4. Communicate with clients regarding delivery updates, potential delays, or changes to scheduled routes.
5. Help resolve minor issues related to transportation or customer inquiries.
6. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental.
7. Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance.
8. Attend safety meetings and troubleshoot site HSE issues.
9. Co-ordinate and maintain records of safety induction/training & Daily/Toolbox Talks.
10. Administer monthly HSE report & statistics.
11. Conduct machinery inspections and ensure all equipment is in good condition.
12. Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

1. Minimum Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B).
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a related field.
3. Experience in shipping or logistics will be an advantage.
4. Good team player.
5. Able to handle work pressure.
6. Pro-active and good working attitude.
7. Attained Supervise Workplace Safety & Health in Process Plant Certificate.
8. Attained Managing Work-At-Height Certificate.
