Job summary

OCBC in Singapore is offering an Internship as an Operational Risk Analyst Intern. You will gain exposure to banking operations, process governance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support resilience and service quality.

You will develop analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills while reviewing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting risk controls across the bank's operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in operations, risk management, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operational Risk Management: support identification, assessment, monitoring of operational risks across banking operations.
• Process Improvement: review workflows to improve efficiency, service quality, and control effectiveness.
• Automation Initiatives: assist in system automation projects to streamline manual activities.
• Data Analysis: analyse operational data, trends, and performance metrics to identify insights.
• Risk & Control Reviews: evaluate process risks, control gaps, and develop practical recommendations.
• Project Support: participate in improvement and transformation projects including planning, testing, implementation, monitoring.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with stakeholders across business and support functions to gather requirements and address challenges.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support operational risk, quality management and service improvement initiatives.
