A leading company in maritime operations is looking for a Post Fixture Operator to manage and document fixtures efficiently. This role involves liaising with Owners and Charterers, ensuring compliance with Charter Party requirements, and maintaining databases for performance tracking. Ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of legal frameworks and operational processes in the maritime industry.
Operations - Post Fixture
The responsibilities of the Post Fixture Operator shall include the following:
a. Obtaining and providing the Owners and Charterers with all the information required in a timely manner.
b. Evaluating information received from the Owners and sent date required by the Charterers in a manner which is concise and easily understand.
c. Comprehend the legal and documentary requirements to ensure the safe and timely completion of the Charter Party and propose alternative work methods if necessary.
d. Have a full understanding of the Charter Parties in use for fixtures with our customers and make the Charterer aware of any clause which might impact their current operations.
e. Enter freight data into the database and prepare commission invoices for our services. Ensure the freight is paid as per the Charter Part stipulates.
f. Provide demurrage summary of any shipment when required with recommendations of laytime remaining for shipments which have not been completed.
g. Key in pertinent data into our database for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting. Assist in presentation to Charterers on the performance of their COA (Contract of Affreightment) when required.
h. Participate in updating and maintaining the database of information in SharePoint.
i. Any other special projects as assigned.
