Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

Role Objective
Our projects involve working with cars equipped with 360 cameras mounted on top, backpacks with 360 cameras, simple mobile phones, and drones. The data collected is used to enhance one of the most popular online maps in the world.

The Junior Project Manager (Operational Lead) will be responsible for managing a team of data collectors, their routes, schedules, expenses; supporting Project and Program Managers with planning tasks. Our projects often span multiple countries with remote teams globally.

The ideal candidate has coordination or management experience, excellent communication skills, is highly responsible and organized. We value a leadership style that fosters collaboration rather than authoritarian management.

Responsibilities
  • Direct communication and management of your team
  • Monitor performance and quality metrics, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate across functions (quality, production, etc.) to meet program deliverables
  • Manage costs and monitor budgets
  • Participate in team training sessions
  • Handle team-level risk management
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of coordination or management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Flexibility to support field operations, including non-standard hours
  • Experience in preparing reports and presentation decks
  • Ability to quickly digest information and translate it into actions
  • Ability to manage a team, often under high-stress situations
  • Experience managing teams remotely
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
