Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic service professional to oversee, maintain, and successfully execute the high standards of hospitality. The role will work to instill the vision of hospitality and create experiences that exceed customer expectations. The role also involves managing the restaurant/store efficiently and cost-effectively, inspiring team members to increase sales and morale, and interacting positively with customers to promote services and resolve problems to everyone's satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing administration, service floor plans, and daily walkthroughs.
  • Manage employees' daily responsibilities, providing clear and effective direction.
  • Hire and lead team members, promoting a positive work environment and developing a high-performance team.
  • Plan and review staff duty rosters, monitor performance, and provide training to enhance technical knowledge and product literacy.
  • Create accountability systems and provide consistent feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Perform all back-office POS functions, including employee profiles and menu creation.
  • Plan, execute, and communicate promotions and company information effectively.
  • Conduct facility walk-throughs multiple times daily to ensure safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization standards are met; address health violations immediately.
  • Promote and practice safe work habits, identify and resolve safety hazards, and document incidents for safety management.
  • Ensure all team members are educated on products and services.
  • Ensure drink and food recipes and procedures are followed to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Maintain and execute customer relationship management strategies to grow loyalty and manage feedback.
  • Participate in community events and support corporate social responsibility goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the F&B industry, with a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality.
  • Ability to perform duties professionally and maintain composure under pressure in a high-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local health and safety standards.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, POS systems, reservations, inventory management, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to motivate and train team members.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Adherence to steps of service and company policies.
