Job description

Job Description:

  • Ensure proper staffing levels to support material management and planning, manufacture and shipment of products.
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure all key performances met and exceeded, such as daily output, quality, team training and development, etc., and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Responsible for optimal utilization of resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) and manufacturing costs.
  • Address technical and non-technical problems that arise in manufacturing. Assist in the identification and resolution of production quality issues.
  • Ensure safe working environment and promote safety culture. Anticipate potential problems and take preventive action.
  • Ensure compliance with Haitian Precious Metal Security policy.
  • Plan long-term strategy for site manufacturing in support of the business unit.
  • Create an environment where manufacturing staff are motivated to perform their tasks at the highest possible level.
  • Communicate with colleagues from other global sites, to coordinate projects involving best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • ERP system methodology, general understanding of finance, experience with New Product scale-up/introduction, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Supervision, professionalism, problem-solving, oral communication, strategic thinking, initiative, and motivation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Engineering and or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences
  • Experiences in a plant manufacturing environment, working in a multi-national company
