Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee the operations of the manufacturing plant, planning, warehouse, materials, equipment, tools, Health and safety to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule. Manage the entire production process to ensure the production of high-quality products, assessing project and resource requirements, reviewing and agreeing budgets and timescales with HODs. Inspires employees and create a good working environment for them. Ensure the health and safety regulations are met in the plant and instill discipline and compliance at all times.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the full spectrum of production functions, both strategically and operationally.
  2. Review and implement optimum production operation process to improve the global manufacturing process and make it more efficient.
  3. Responsible for production planning, warehouse, health and safety.
  4. Set up the production schedules and ensure that quantities and timings are met.
  5. Optimization of labour and machinery to meet production schedules and customers’ delivery dates.
  6. Ensure that the Production is operating smoothly and efficiently.
  7. Discuss and coordinate quality related issues received to production, planning and warehouse.
  8. Oversea warehouse operations and inventory accuracy both system and physical stock.
  9. Responsible in ensuring On-Time delivery.
  10. Responsible for evaluating employees and making sure they are producing what is necessary.
  11. Responsible for providing employees with necessary coaching, training and discipline to help them to be competent on their jobs.
  12. Ensure that the production use the routers correctly and update the VM system on time.
  13. Ensure that Planning and warehouse use company system/software efficiently and effectively.
  14. Review manpower requirements and analyze production reports (labor/utilization report, gross profit report and etc).
  15. Review departmental budeget and costs.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
  • Must complete minimum training required specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1-026F.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities to strategize, prioritize, lead, inspire and motivate a team.
  • Solid understanding of the Processing Environment in the Oil and Gas industries

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
  1. Education : Minimum Degree Engineering or any Industrial or material science subjects
  2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and written English
  3. Experience : Proven and Solid 5 years of work experience in the same field and in the Oil & Gas equipment Manufacturing Environment
  4. Software/Hardware : Knowledge on Microsoft office particularly Excel (pivot, vlookup), ERP system and able to read technical drawings
