Job summary

A leading vehicle rental company in Singapore seeks an office operations manager to oversee daily activities, manage customer interactions, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, customer service experience, and technical knowledge related to vehicle operations. This position will initially last six months, with a possibility for conversion to a full-time role.

This position reports to the managing director and interfaces with Organisation managers and HR staff. Specific Responsibilities

Individual to be involved in:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the office

2.Handling walk-in customers, processing payments, and issuing receipts or invoices

3. Managing shop inventory such as rental accessories (e.g., GPS devices), promotional materials, and office supplies

4. Managing vehicle bookings, dispatch, and returns

5. Scheduling and allocating vehicles based on customer requirements and availability

6. Monitoring vehicle condition, arranging regular servicing, inspections

7. Ensuring all vehicles are compliant with LTA regulations, road tax, and insurance requirements

8. Liaising with workshops, service providers, and external drivers for vehicle delivery, maintenance, and other operational needs

9. Assisting customers with vehicle handover, return process, and addressing any issues such as breakdowns or accidents

10. Preparing and maintaining accurate records for rental agreements, insurance, servicing, and vehicle usage

11. Assisting in the submission of claims and documentation for insurance or accident-related matters.

12. Assisting with the preparation of reports on fleet usage, income, and operational efficiency.
