As an Operations Manager in a subsea autonomous robotics company, you'll oversee and optimize all aspects of subsea operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services, including project planning, execution, and resource management, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning and Execution:

1. Develop and implement operational plans for subsea projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
2. Oversee the execution of subsea operations, including vessel operations, HAUV operations, and other subsea activities.
3. Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Resource Management

1. Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and vessels, to support subsea operations.
2. Monitor and control costs associated with subsea operations.
3. Ensure the availability and readiness of necessary resources for subsea operations.

Safety and Compliance

1. Ensure that all subsea operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
2. Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Performance Monitoring And Improvement

1. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to subsea operations.
2. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and near misses.

Team Leadership And Development

1. Lead and motivate a team of subsea operations personnel.
2. Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Skills And Qualifications

1. 3+ years' experience of working on an Operations Manager position
2. Strong leadership and management skills.
3. Extensive knowledge of subsea operations and industry standards.
4. Experience in project planning, execution, and resource management.
5. Active learner, with a demonstrated interest in autonomous intelligent machines / robots
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
8. Proven track record of successfully managing subsea operations.
