Position Summary
At Tokka Labs, we emphasize the efficiency of organization processes which is paramount to the
success of the company. As an experienced Operations Manager in the Middle-Office/Operations
Team, you will help to maintain and grow this standard further. He/She will work with financial data
to provide insights to business stakeholders to aid in the decision-making of crucial projects,
gather research and business development. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a critical
role in supporting the expansion of the business, the ideal candidate is expected to have a strong
control mindset and a good understanding of operational risk. The ideal candidate will have a
sharp business mind and proven success for maximum productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the daily PnL/Inventory is accurately reported to the Front Office & reconciled between PnL tools & management reporting tools.
  • Provide insights to PnL swings and variance investigation to Front Office Quant Traders.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process to Finance Team.
  • Perform Daily trade capture, reconciliation, cash management and adhere to post-trade
    risk controls parameters.
  • Provide essential internal reporting to business stakeholders.
  • Assist in trading accounts onboarding and maintenance. To coordinate with
    exchanges/brokers on daily/monthly BAU issues.
  • Participate and lead in streamlining of operational processes, improvement of existing
    systems and controls, assist in new system development as the business continues to
    scale.
  • Lead and manage MO operations projects when required. Partner with our tech
    developers and cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
  • Support daily operations to ensure deliverables and internal support are met
  • Assist in other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or similar fields from top universities.
  • Preferably with 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the field of Banking, Finance and
    Trading firms with strong knowledge of key financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Five or more years of proven success in operations management.
  • Candidates with project/product management skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical, coordination skills and detail oriented.
  • Good understanding of financial instruments and trading strategies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or Google Suite softwares. Technical knowledge in
    Python, VBA and JIRA is a plus.
  • A team player, self-starter and have a sense of responsibility.
  • Strong capability to multi-task, critical problem-solving skills, work under pressure, and
    meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and have a positive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is considered an
    advantage for engaging with business stakeholders.
  • Prior knowledge and interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies would be beneficial
