Responsibilities:

  1. Acting as a central link for operations, resolving issues promptly between vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  2. Being on 24-hour standby for all queries, feedback, complaints, and operational issues from clients and surveyors.
  3. Managing all IHM queries.
  4. Boarding vessels for BQS jobs if necessary.
  5. Preparing and generating IHM reports as required by specific classification societies.
  6. Coordinating global water-related projects (D2).
  7. Managing and coordinating all asbestos removal jobs.
  8. Spearheading quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and successful audit outcomes, including comprehensive new audit reports.
  9. Generating and issuing final reports (BQS) as necessary.
  10. Managing calibration and verification of equipment for in-house surveyors, ensuring the use of the latest and most accurate tools.
  11. Proactively engaging with clients to gather feedback, implement suggestions, and address disputes to enhance overall satisfaction.
  12. Creating a tool for customers to view their savings when engaging Viswalab.
  13. Establishing as the go-to contact for IHM, water, and BQS jobs in collaboration with the sales department.
  14. Planning and executing system tweaks and changes in collaboration with the Director and Global Manager.
  15. Pairing with the Global Manager on all BQS operational matters.
  16. Leading training programs for in-house surveyors and external vendors across multiple international locations including Singapore, Malaysia, Fujairah, China, Mauritius, Thailand, and the USA.
  17. Managing procurement of equipment for water-related projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely acquisition.
  18. Implementing continuous improvement strategies based on client feedback to enhance service delivery and operational processes.
  19. Working closely with the Director to explore new ideas and concepts for process improvement.
  20. Organizing logistics and training matters for new trainees and overseas staff in Singapore.
  21. Serving as Quality Manager for Viswalab Singapore BQS Department for SAC accreditation.
  22. Conducting yearly internal audits of the BQS department.
  23. Managing emails after office hours.
  24. Coordinating with third parties for VGP jobs in Australia and Hong Kong.
  25. Carrying out periodic overseas audits on vendors and in-house surveyors.
  26. Preparing overseas audit reports for internal and sales use.
  27. Preparing sales slides for BQS clients.
  28. Attending BQS sales meetings for presentations.
  29. Going onboard ships as required.
Qualifications:
  1. Diploma and Degree in Marine-related fields.
