GE Vernova Singapore Services is seeking a dynamic Rotor Operations Leader. The role involves overseeing Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Rotor Repair and Onsite Support operations and reports to the Senior Operations Manager within the Rotor Repair Cell.

This role is pivotal in advancing the global energy transition and developing decarbonization solutions. The successful candidate will lead efforts to transform rotor repair capabilities for High Efficiency Air-cooled (HA) gas turbines in Singapore, optimizing operations to serve the regional market effectively.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Guide a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians to meet SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) performance targets

  • Operations Management: Plan, schedule, and execute the fulfillment of production job orders.

  • Efficiency Monitoring: Assess labor utilization and efficiency, reporting gaps and implementing corrective actions.

  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements in cycle/lead time and implement cost control/reduction strategies.

  • Problem Solving: Lead deep dive and root cause analyses to identify operational gaps and recommend continuous improvement measures.

  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop future leaders within the team.

  • Standard Work Compliance: Ensure adherence to escalation process standard work and engage teams in 5 Whys Problem Solving Activities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aviation, or Industrial encouraged).

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a related industry.

  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.

  • Proficient in computer skills, including web-based systems and Microsoft Office.
