Operations Lead [Retail / Permanent / Central]

RecruitFirst is hiring! We are looking for passionate and energetic talents as a Operations Lead to join my client in the Retail Industry!

Job Description

1. Lead & execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.
2. Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Brand and Operations & Visual Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
3. Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
4. Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
5. Ensure overall store equipment is in good condition and monitor all issues to be solved in a timely manner.
6. Partner with Operations Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintenance and maximization.
7. Provide constant feedback to drive individual growth in partnership with the Brand and Operations & Visual Managers.
8. Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure cross-functional training, and Sales & Service teams to ensure the business is well-executed.
9. Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives, in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager (e.g. stock replenishment, new colour launches).
10. Support cashiering responsibilities, daily cash floats, ensuring all cashier equipment and systems are functioning properly.
11. Perform sales reconciliation and investigate discrepancies, implementing preventative measures to mitigate financial losses.

Requirements

1. 2 years of retail experience, preferably within a client-focused, sales-driven environment.
2. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
3. Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building genuine connections.
