We are seeking a dynamic, and experienced Operations Lead to oversee freight, shipping, inventory control, and purchasing activities across our regional markets. You will play a key role in driving supply visibility, optimizing stock availability, and ensuring cost-efficient operations throughout the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges with a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Operations

  • Manage end-to-end freight and shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.

  • Oversee inventory planning, replenishment, and allocation across distributor markets to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Coordinate purchasing and supplier activities to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply.

  • Ensure day-to-day operations are executed smoothly and in line with business requirements.

Financial Management & Cost Control

  • Monitor budgets and operational spending to ensure cost-effective practices across supply-related functions.

  • Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted metrics and present key insights to management.

  • Implement initiatives to reduce costs across shipping, procurement, and inventory holding.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to consolidate operational data and support decision-making.

  • Present reports and analysis during Sales & Operations Planning meetings.

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide the team to meet performance goals and promote continuous improvement.

  • Provide input on compliance, risk management, and strategic planning.

Operational Excellence & Strategy

  • Continuously assess and improve freight, shipping, and inventory processes to drive efficiency and service quality.

  • Develop and track KPIs focused on stock health, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to long-term operational strategies.

What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field

  • Proven experience in freight, shipping, inventory control, and purchasing

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Navision/Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and general MS Office tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Able to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
