Job description

Operations Executive

Basic Salary: $2,800 – $3,200

Working Hours:

Mon to Fri: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm / 5.30pm (Off in lieu if working on Saturday)

Work Location: Penjuru Lane ( Company transport provided from Jurong East MRT)

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate with agents using Portnet.
• Communicate with customers and plant staff to update order status and loading schedules.
• Plan driver assignments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
• Handle urgent delivery requests and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare and check all shipping documents via Portnet and Jurong Port systems.
• Verify trip forms from drivers after each job.
• Respond to customer enquiries, send delivery receipts and proof of delivery.
• Track driver locations via GPS and ensure they follow the correct routes.
• Assist with customer feedback and support the Transportation Manager with admin duties.
• Submit incident or investigation reports when needed.
• Manage a fleet of prime movers and drivers.

Job Requirements:

• GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics or fleet operations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage pressure.
• Good in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proactive and a strong team player.
• Willing to be on standby 24/7 for urgent operations matters (1 week per month only).
