Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the vessel schedule.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders.
• Apply for permits for vessel port entry, crew change, etc.
• Assess the suitability of vessels for specific ports, considering their characteristics, port capabilities, and our commercial requirements.
• Familiarize with local rules and regulations.
• Identify trends and propose process improvements for ship safety and operational efficiency.
• Promote a mindset focused on work and cost efficiencies.
• Provide regular feedback on challenges and potential issues affecting team performance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Diploma in shipping, logistics, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Shipping Agency.
• Familiar with MPA, ICA, PSA website applications.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing priorities and emergencies.
• Solid knowledge of the maritime industry or related supply chain domains.
