A leading company in healthcare and scientific innovation is seeking a Supply Chain and Shipping Coordinator in Singapore. Responsibilities:
Process upstream orders and issue Purchase Orders.
Liaise with supplier, freight forwarders and warehouse on all matters related to shipment coordination and ensure a smooth and timely arrival of shipment
Negotiate rates and contracts with freight carriers to achieve cost-effective shipping solutions.
Manage full spectrum of shipping documentation (invoice, packing list, L/C negotiation, certificate of origin, bill of lading etc.)
Timely verification and submission of shipping documents to Finance team for payment
Monitor and analyse freight expenses regularly to ensure alignment with budget targets.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Undertake any other ad-hoc projects/ tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply & Shipping, ideally in a trading and distribution setting.
Knowledge of incoterms and Letters of Credit (L/C) is advantageous.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as NAV, SAP, or Oracle.
Prior experience in purchasing would be beneficial.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
Strong work ethic, collaborates effectively within teams, works autonomously when needed, takes initiative, and pays meticulous attention to detail
