As an Operations Executive, you’re not just creating unforgettable dining moments – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
As the Operations Executive, you will be responsible for performing all the floor service supervisor duties to the highest standards. The position also offers additional bar and hostess training, as well as event handling and booking knowledge.
- Maintain a high customer service focus and always keep the customer in mind.
- Take personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational and environmental procedures in the hotel.
- Actively promote the services and facilities of Hilton hotels to guests and suppliers.
- Ensure duties are performed safely for yourself and others.
- Know the food and beverage menu contents and explain them to guests.
- Understand dietary requirements and offer suitable suggestions.
- Accept Manager’s guidance to improve customer service.
- Complete product knowledge checklists.
- Suggest menu items suited to guests of different nationalities.
- Familiarize with menu items of all other outlets to recommend them to guests.
- Know the opening hours of all restaurants and hotel outlets.
- Recommend other restaurants and city attractions to guests.
- Check team members’ product knowledge each shift.
- Ensure all areas of the restaurant meet standards for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including cashier desk setup and coordination with chefs regarding reservations.
- Verify reservations, ensuring tables are ready and large bookings are confirmed by phone.
- Assist bartenders, kitchen staff, and Manager as needed.
- Brief the team on shift details before service.
- Complete the restaurant preparation checklist each shift.
- Greet guests with a smile, offer assistance, and introduce yourself.
- Escort guests to their tables and determine smoking or non‑smoking preference.
- Follow up on guest questions immediately, consulting your Manager if necessary.
- Ensure all service procedures meet required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all dining areas.
- Supervise the restaurant roster daily, adjusting to business needs.
- Control allocated labor to meet customer expectations while maintaining labor cost targets.
- Assist restaurant managers in training new team members during induction and on‑the‑job training.
- Offer constructive feedback to team members after each shift to develop their skills.
- Lead and direct all team members on duty with professionalism.
- Review shift handovers and briefings.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a Captain, Supervisor, or similar role within a bar or food and beverage environment is preferred.
- Relevant hospitality qualifications or equivalent work experience are preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Displays initiative, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Adaptability to changing operational requirements.
- Collaborative teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, beverage service, and responsible alcohol service.
- Ability to remember and confidently recommend menu items.
- Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
