Job summary

Job description

Operations Executive, Facilities (Up to $3800)

Jobscope:

  • Identify and perform necessary maintenance on buildings and facilities
  • Conduct inspections periodically to evaluate the maintenance condition and identify necessary corrective actions
  • Report deficiencies as they occur and request emergency or routine service
  • Oversee and manage appointed contractors to ensure compliance with standards
  • Manage contracts, raise Purchase Orders (PO), and activate renewals when due
  • Handle administrative duties, including developing and maintaining operating procedures, verifying invoices, monitoring expenses, and assisting in budget exercises
  • Oversee fire safety measures in the nursing home
  • Participate in and support work process improvement and technology enhancement projects
  • Manage and supervise a team of operations assistants, including recruitment, discipline, and performance appraisal
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Manage outsource vendors to ensure timely servicing and submission of service reports to MOHH iham before deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Building, Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with government agency regulations (MOH, NEA, BCA, SCDF)
  • Good report writing skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency matters after office hours
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms)
