Operations Executive, Facilities (Up to $3800)
Jobscope:
- Identify and perform necessary maintenance on buildings and facilities
- Conduct inspections periodically to evaluate the maintenance condition and identify necessary corrective actions
- Report deficiencies as they occur and request emergency or routine service
- Oversee and manage appointed contractors to ensure compliance with standards
- Manage contracts, raise Purchase Orders (PO), and activate renewals when due
- Handle administrative duties, including developing and maintaining operating procedures, verifying invoices, monitoring expenses, and assisting in budget exercises
- Oversee fire safety measures in the nursing home
- Participate in and support work process improvement and technology enhancement projects
- Manage and supervise a team of operations assistants, including recruitment, discipline, and performance appraisal
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
- Manage outsource vendors to ensure timely servicing and submission of service reports to MOHH iham before deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Building, Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with government agency regulations (MOH, NEA, BCA, SCDF)
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency matters after office hours
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Proficiency in MS Office & Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms)
