Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Executive (Electrical & Mechanical) to support the coordination and management of light equipment assets across multiple project sites. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient deployment, maintenance, and performance tracking of equipment to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to schedule and oversee timely repair and preventive maintenance of light equipment (electrical & mechanical).
  • Promptly advise and escalate urgent repair needs to prevent disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Manage deployment logistics to ensure equipment availability and readiness across all project locations.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data and usage records to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking systems and generate regular reports on equipment status and utilization.
  • Liaise with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure availability of spare parts and timely servicing.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Support budgeting and cost control efforts related to equipment repair, maintenance, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal policies related to equipment handling and operations.
  • Prepare and present equipment performance reports to management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or relevant certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in equipment operations, asset management, or project coordination, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with light equipment used in construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment data and generate actionable insights.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards in equipment operations.
