A fast-growing logistics firm seeks an Operations Executive/Assistant to manage airfreight operations. The successful candidate will handle import/export operations, liaison with various agencies for cargo clearance, and ensure accurate documentation. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in logistics and experience in airfreight procedures, alongside strong bilingual communication skills.
Position : Operations Executive/Assistant (Airfreight)
Location : Bukit Merah (Few bus stops from Tiong Bahru MRT)
Working hours : 5 days (Monday-Friday office hours)
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3700 + AWS +Bonus + Mobile + 14 days Annual leave

Responsibilities
Handle full spectrum of airfreight operations (import & export), including booking, documentation, shipment tracking and billing.
Liaise with airlines, ground handling agents, transporters, and customs for timely cargo clearance and delivery.
Prepare and process shipping documents such as AWBs, permits, invoices, and packing lists.
Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any issues or delays with relevant parties.
Coordinate closely with customers and internal departments to meet service expectations and special handling requirements.
Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the freight management system.
Assist in month-end closing activities, including job costing and billing verification.
Maintain proper filing and documentation in accordance with company policy and audit requirements.
Support in quality and compliance matters, including adherence to aviation security and customs regulations.
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team in supporting budget planning and managing vendor costs.
Requirement:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in airfreight operations (import/export).
Knowledge of airfreight procedures, customs documentation, and cargo systems (e.g., Cargowise, Tradenet) is preferred.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
