Job description

Duration: 3 Years Contract

Location: Changi Airport

Start Date: Mid-September 2025

Interview Period: May 2025 onwards

Working Schedule: Rotating 12-hour day/night Shifts

Key Responsibilities

Baggage Flow Management

• Monitor and manage the baggage flow across airport terminals using the Baggage Management System (BMS)

• Optimise the use of baggage resources (e.g., conveyor belts, early bag storage, racetracks)

• Operate predictive baggage platforms to detect anomalies and implement preventive actions

• Adjust resource allocations in real time based on flight or aircraft changes to ensure minimal disruptions

Incident Management

• Assist the on-shift Baggage Lead in coordinating recovery actions with internal and external stakeholders

• Deploy and manage ground responders during incidents or adverse weather

• Liaise with airlines and ground handlers for manual baggage handling when necessary

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in Aviation Management, Logistics, or Operations Management

• Prior background in aviation / operations

• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Able to perform under pressure and make timely operational decisions

• Team-oriented, with a growth mindset and resilience

• Familiarity with data analytics, baggage/airport operations, or aircraft types is an advantage

• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred but not mandatory
