Operations Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Executive to assist the Race Director in the planning and execution of race routes, ensuring smooth and safe operations. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders and managing logistics.

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with project managers, contractors, traffic management agencies, and local residents.
• Ensure all parties are informed and aligned with the race route and closure plans.

Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in planning road race routes, closure schedules, and traffic management strategies.
• Develop contingency and alternative route plans.

Resource Management

• Oversee deployment of personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Implement traffic control measures (e.g., road closures, temporary signage, detour routes).

Stakeholder Engagement

• Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and traffic authorities.
• Ensure smooth coordination among all parties involved.

Incident Management

• Handle on-site issues or emergencies effectively and efficiently.
• Minimize disruption and ensure safety during incidents.

Documentation & Reporting

• Generate reports on progress, incidents, and event outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols related to road works and public events.

Budget Support

• Assist in managing operational budgets for road closures and race logistics.

• General Manager

Requirements

• No experience required, Minimum Diploma in any discipline
• Valid Class 3 Driving License
• Able to ride a bicycle
• Strong organizational and communication skills and able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Familiar with traffic management principles and practices
• Knowledge of road work safety regulations and protocols
• Comfortable working with diverse teams and external stakeholders
