Job description

Our client is a commodity trading company specializing in pure metals. They are rapidly expanding and are looking for Operations Executive to support their business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable of contract terms and incoterms and able to produce contracts predicted on trader's agreement approval and perform sales and purchases from start to end.
  • Oversee and take charge of the required documents for DA, L/C, DP registration and financial discussions autonomously.
  • Knowledgeable on examining bills of lading, conditional discharges, letters of credit drafts, and warehouse invoices.
  • Work closely and liaise with vendors and purchasers regarding cost, payment disputes, cargo fulfillment, and ultimate transactions.
  • Work closely to consignments preparations with warehouse forwarder and coordinate with cargo transportation, storage, and release with warehouse.
  • Good understanding of pricing and hedging.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts department to manage receiving funds and exiting transactions.
  • Able to learn quickly how to input and modify transactions in the database and update the database regularly.
  • Able to resolve issues that arise.
  • Evaluate and track all risks and report to Operations Manager.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the related industry.
  • Capable of adapting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and spoken skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Additional Information:

  • Job Type: Full time, Permanent.
  • Salary range: $3.8k - $4.6k.
