- Support the OSH program and integrate safety and health into daily routines, ensuring compliance with safe work methods and relevant regulations.
- Monitor vessel movement with agents via Portnet system.
- Liaise closely with customers and plant operators on order status and loading schedules.
- Plan and deploy tasks to drivers, ensuring KPIs are met and operations run smoothly from job start to completion.
- Prioritize urgent requests and ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documents via Portnet & Jurong Port online, ensuring they are complete and meet customer requirements.
- Check and verify drivers' and supply teams' trip forms after job completion.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to documents, such as delivery receipts or proof of delivery, within the specified lead time.
- Ensure drivers are aware of specific customer requirements and monitor GPS tracking to track progress along assigned routes.
- Handle customer feedback, administrative issues, and perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
- Submit incident or investigation reports when required.
- Manage a fleet of Prime Movers and drivers.
- Standby or handle 24/7 duty phone on a rotation basis during operations.
Requirements:
- GCE A-level or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in third-party logistics, preferably in traffic and workforce planning and allocation.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written) and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, complete daily tasks on time, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak periods and take responsibility and accountability for the role.
- Capable of identifying and suggesting improvements.
- Willing to work on a 24/7 standby basis to respond to agent/client queries regarding supply status.
- A team player, as collaboration with team members is essential.
- Excellent MS Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
