Job Title: Operations Executive (F&B / Catering Central Kitchen)
Job Purpose:
To support the daily operations of the central kitchen and ensure smooth coordination between production, logistics, and service teams. The Operations Executive assists in food preparation planning, order fulfillment, quality checks, and delivery scheduling to meet catering requirements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Support
- Assist in coordinating daily food production schedules according to event and order requirements.
- Monitor progress of food preparation, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure correct labeling, portioning, and packaging of food items before delivery.
- Support communication between kitchen, logistics, and event teams to ensure timely execution.
2. Quality & Food Safety
- Check that all food items meet quality and presentation standards before dispatch.
- Ensure hygiene and food safety practices are followed in all work areas.
- Report any non-conformance or quality issues to the Operations Manager or Supervisor.
3. Inventory & Stock Handling
- Monitor daily stock usage of raw materials and packing supplies.
- Assist in stock-taking and updating inventory records.
- Coordinate with the purchasing team on replenishment needs.
- Help manage storage areas to maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
4. Logistics Coordination
- Prepare delivery orders and ensure dispatch schedules are met.
- Liaise with drivers and logistics staff for accurate and timely deliveries.
- Verify that catering orders are complete and correctly packed for each event or client.
5. Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Maintain operational records such as production logs, delivery sheets, and checklists.
- Assist in preparing simple daily or weekly reports on kitchen output and delivery performance.
- Support documentation for audits and compliance (e.g., temperature logs, cleaning records).
6. Team Support
- Work closely with kitchen and operations staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in training new staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Uphold teamwork, discipline, and safety standards within the central kitchen.
