Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for an individual to responsible for sales support, order processing, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate has a Diploma, at least 3 years of experience, and is proficient in English and Mandarin. Responsibilities include raising purchase orders, preparing shipping documents, and monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations.

Job description

Responsible for sales support, processing customers orders, materials sourcing and managing supply chain operations:

Purchasing and Order Processing Function

  • Raise purchase orders to suppliers for stock replenishment as needed
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Keep track of pending orders and update status to stakeholders
  • Follow up delivery schedule and ensure on time delivery are met
  • Liaise with overseas counterparts for order dispatch and order accuracy. Resolve discrepancies if there is in a correct and timely manner.
  • Ensure materials ordered meets the minimum standards for remaining shelf life
  • Verify order details, including product availability, pricing, and delivery terms

Logistics and Inventory Function

  • Prepare and organize shipping documents required for export clearance, including Bill of Lading, packing list, shipping certificate, declaration, certificate of origin, and etc
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability for order fulfilment
  • Communicate and liaise with various internal and external parties and freight forwarding companies on all import and export shipment/orders
  • Assist with warehouse on logistics operations including receiving, inventory control and distribution of materials
  • Liaise with logistics vendors to secure competitive shipping rates and ensure timely delivery of orders

Other Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly reports for internal stakeholders
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, supporting sales and operational functions
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to management

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum Diploma with 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Customer oriented and ability to respond to different types of characters
  • Good communication skills, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
  • A team player with high level of commitment and flexibility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures, including customs clearance and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
