Job Purpose

To oversee and optimize daily cleaning operations, ensuring service excellence, compliance with safety standards, and client satisfaction while supporting the Operations Manager in strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily cleaning operations across assigned sites.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs, client requirements, and industry standards (WSQ, NEA, ISO).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain service quality.

2. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor cleaning teams, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment in line with Tripartite Guidelines.
  • Address and resolve team issues promptly and fairly.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing feedback and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to clients and management.
  • Assist in contract renewals and service expansions.

4. Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce safety protocols (PPE, chemical handling) and ensure compliance with BizSafe/ISO standards.
  • Investigate and report incidents, implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

5. Administrative & Strategic Support

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of cleaning supplies.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Support the Operations Manager in process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years in operations/supervisory roles (cleaning, facilities, or hospitality preferred).
  • WSQ Certificate in Cleaning Supervision (or commitment to obtain within 6 months).
  • Proficiency in English and basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software).

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in healthcare/school/industrial cleaning environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/45001 and BizSafe standards.
  • Class 3/4 driving license (if applicable).

Work Conditions

  • Location: Office + site visits (local travel required).
  • Shift: 5.5-day work week (may include weekends/PH for urgent projects).
