Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg) seeks an experienced production engineer to optimize gas production processes and ensure safe, efficient operation of ASU assets on Jurong Island.

You will lead process improvements, apply industrial engineering principles, and collaborate with E2E, Maintenance, Commercial and Supply Chain to achieve operational excellence. Irregular hours and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in petrochemical/gas or related industry with chemical process operations and DCS experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in DCS programming and data analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes to enhance efficiency.
• Apply industrial engineering principles to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operating hazards.
• Oversee and troubleshoot technical operations, guiding shift teams.
• Collaborate with E2E, Maintenance, Commercial and Supply Chain to achieve operational excellence.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and staff.
