Job summary

Sun City Maintenance Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead cleaning operations across Singapore, managing multiple client contracts and large teams. You will drive service quality, optimise manpower and costs, and contribute to business growth.

You will oversee SOPs, KPIs and operational plans, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. Strong leadership, budgeting and client relationship skills are essential for success in this senior role.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant cleaning industry experience
• ≥5 years in a senior management role
• Experience overseeing multiple sites and large-scale contracts
• Strong knowledge of cleaning operations, budgeting and service quality
• Proven ability to manage profitability, costs and client relationships
• Good understanding of Singapore workplace safety regulations
• Leadership, planning, decision-making and communication skills
• Experience with tenders, new contracts mobilisation, or robotics is a plus

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee our cleaning operations, manage multiple client contracts, ensure service quality, optimise manpower and costs, and drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Job responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of multiple cleaning contracts across Singapore.
• Lead and manage Operations Managers, Executives, Supervisors and cleaning teams.
• Develop and implement operational plans, SOPs and KPIs to improve efficiency.
• Manage manpower planning, deployment, scheduling and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning quality and service standards.
• Handle client feedback, complaints and operational issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support contract renewals.
• Monitor operational budgets, manpower costs and contract profitability.
• Work with the Business Development team on tenders, quotations and new contracts.
• Oversee the mobilization and smooth commencement of new cleaning contracts.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and cleaning industry regulations.
• Monitor workplace safety, incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Improve productivity through cleaning equipment, robotics and technology.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other departments to support operations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to the Managing Director.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in the cleaning industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• 2. Proven experience overseeing multiple sites, sizeable operational teams and large-scale cleaning contracts.
• 3. Strong knowledge of cleaning operations, manpower planning, service quality, contract management and operational budgeting.
• 4. Experience managing contract profitability, cost control, client relationships and service-level performance.
• 5. Good understanding of relevant Singapore workplace safety regulations and cleaning-industry requirements.
• 6. Strong leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, communication and problem-solving skills.
• 7. Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational escalations.
• 8. Experience in tender support, new contract mobilisation, cleaning automation or robotics is an advantage.
