A leading company is seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee operations and ensure compliance within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience, a degree in engineering or business, and strong leadership skills to drive team performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee workshop operations including after-sales, customer care, and claims.
Lead and manage team performance to meet revenue, operational, and service targets.
Review and improve SOPs and workflows for efficiency.
Manage parts procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination.
Analyze performance data and implement improvements & corrective actions.
Develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and risk management.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and industry practices.
Stay updated on automotive technologies and implement relevant tools.
Implement staff training programs, especially for technical roles.
Collect and act on customer feedback to enhance service quality.
Oversee workshop system and diagnostic tools.
Drive continuous improvement in operations and customer satisfaction.
Develop risk management and emergency contingency plans.
Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Job Requirements:
At least 10 years of extensive experience in similar capacity.
University degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
Strong leader with good communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in identifying vehicles faults and provide solutions.
Able to visualize, connect and direct after-sales activities in the workshop.
