Job description

We are seeking a responsible and organized Operations Coordinator to manage daily vessel dispatch and marine resource planning. The role involves coordinating vessel schedules, supervising crew teams, ensuring equipment readiness, and supporting smooth offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage vessel schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Coordinate resources with Account Managers and ensure smooth daily deployment of workboats, engineers, and ROV operators.
  • Supervise a 12-person operations team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Communicate regularly with workboat captains and crew on schedules, priorities, and deployment readiness.
  • Liaise with onboard engineers and ROV operators to ensure proper equipment maintenance and operational support.
  • Act as the point of contact for diver teams to ensure coordinated and safe underwater operations.
  • Monitor real-time vessel movements, track progress, resolve issues promptly, and report updates to management.
  • Handle routine vessel administration, including documentation, inspections, and compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyze performance data to drive improvements.
  • Respond to operational disruptions and emergencies, ensuring minimal service impact.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marine operations, vessel coordination, or related roles
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with vessel operations, crew management, and maritime safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in operational data reporting
  • High sense of responsibility and able to work well under pressure
